It's a pity that he turned his back on Christianity for a religion that doesn't hold women in high regard

My father passed away from melanoma cancer on October 3rd 1992 aged 31. I was born 1st February 1993. I never got the chance meet to him. I've always felt a big part of me that's missing. It's hard to comprehend the grievance and despair of missing someone who has died before you were born. But it wasn't just someone, he was my father. I guess I'll always feel that connection, even if it is painful. As I come towards being the same age as he when he passed, I hope that I might finally come to terms with my grief and feel more love in my heart than sadness. 🙏

He had such a great talent. Then he threw it all away for a pointless belief.

I wish my dad was around…. Suicide when I was 13 and I've never been able to cope with rejection since.

    Wonderful song.

    All the best.

I found a cassette tape about 2 3 years after my dad died at my grandmother's house. When the songs that he put on this tape was father and son and heart of gold James Taylor song I had no idea that he liked modern music"
