I bought the Vantrue N2 about 2 years ago. It doesn't loop record even though I have it set correctly and I have to reformat the card every 2 weeks. When its cold, the recording is distorted. That's why I'm here looking for a different.

At these prices and quality you should just get a go pro and just manually record your whole drive great quality and different models allow you to choose which ones fit you perfectly. With many many videos online showing their quality between models you can find one that fits you.
So I have a vantrue x 1 pro seems very good however nothing i can do will allow this unit to keep the date and time set stay ,if i toggle it off using its own on/off button it resets to 1/1/2017 the only way I can keep the date and time set is to leave it on 24/7 and that is stupid . Do you know if the cameras on your list date and time stays set? even if the power is removed/unplugged by accident?

The most Advanced system is coming out by December. By Rydeen. Called the Tombo360 3d car security camera. It won't have 4 or 5g connectivity at launch. But it is going to be added later. And (wait for it, wait for it) ( drum roll) Facial recognition added later as well.Not your face . People around you. Dare any dash cam company to beat that.. Anyone? Anyone? There's only one video on it. But I called Rydeen and asked them for release date. They said end of this year. Nov. Dec..Price still not mentioned

what are the recording times for these dash cams ? I need one that will record at least 40 – 60 minutes video
This video was a little more wordy than it needed to be. If I had a nickel for every time you said, "In case something unfortunate happens" or something to that affect, I'd have a lot of nickels. We all know that we are getting dashcams to protect ourselves. This felt redundant. Maybe try to keep it shorter and to the point next time.
Why do cars on your dash cam appear to be much farther away? This would be a problem proving to a cop for instance, an aggressive tailgater.
