What group recorded a song with the first line"I been lookin' for a love that's not afraid of promises & keepin' 'um"'' ?
Great piano riff in the midde and then "I'm lookin' for a love that's all mine." Loved that song back in the '80s but it didn't seem to last as long as some others. I always tho't it was by Nitty Gritty but I guess not. If anybody could identify the group that recorded this, surely would be grateful!

Jeff Hanna is my favorite singer——–EVER!
I traveled all over the east coast with this band when I was 10 years old… I had back stage passes to go anywhere I wanted. It was so fun. Miss these guys and the road manager, Lenny. Good ol' days.
Jim Ibbotson had a great voice for early recordings. Jeff Hannah has a good one also.
