My dad keeps playing this song whenever i am around him probably since i’m born. As a French i never understood the lyrics and never really care about them when i was a child. But recently and as a grown adult i decided to listen to this song again and now that i understand the meaning behind the lyrics i can’t help but crying rn. I never had the chance to spend a lot of family time with him because he was working a lot and i still can’t see him very often but i’m glad that when i have the opportunity to spend some time with him he keeps playing it as he always did. This song is priceless. Thank you dad, I love you.
