I just watched this and cried my eyes out! Very human touching storyβοΈ
Ronnie Lanes Slim Chance, Round House
Camden Town in the 70's ππππππ
what a beatifull bloke he was
I loved Ronnie. I played keyboards for him (Hammond organ) during the days when Ian Stewart played piano (as long as the song was in a major key. If the song turned out to be in a minor key, Ian would make me play the piano part). They were a lovely bunch of guys, we played a lovely bunch of songs, Ronnie and his wife Katie were lovely people, and I miss those lovely days. Oh Ronnie, people like you are few and far away. Always missed, and always in the thoughts of people who knew you.
One of the best insights in to Ronnies life would be from the lady who stood at his side through his highs and lows .Katy Lane . You will be pleased to hear that Katy is releasing a pod cast as of next week. Be sure to check this channel for insights in to the greatest decade of music. The Rock Behind The Roll
His record as a musician and a performer speaks for itself…RRHOF with 2 bands!
A great tribute he was certainly a character with a great personality and talent it is what makes people stand out .
Ronnie was a gent.
Sad loss to the world and music. From a time when the BBC made quality program's not political propaganda.
None of us could play but that's ok coz we was keen ! What a legend, as for sharon's dad don I guess if it wasn't for him then we may not of had the faces
Nice doc. I had not followed the exploits of Ronnie Lane in my later life, I had wondered how he turned up in Texas.
Oh,what a touching,brilliant documentary…oozing with love for the man.Well Done!!!!!
I ike Pete townsend. He isn't what he first appears. A gentle soft spoken really nice bloke. I wish I had asked hime more questions when I had the chance. I never had the courage to ask him why he smashed up so many great guitars and amps that I would have given my right hand for. Such an interesting guy though. I'd love to have a chat with him again. Oh well.
What a story. Well done!
Ronnie Lane..absolute hero.
Thankyou for opening my eyes to the talent of Ronnie Lane. What an inspiring wonderful person.
That was damn good! Ronnie Lane, wow, what a story
Really regret that the Small Faces never made it to America. They would have been huge.
A life lived . I enjoyed it.
Ronnie Lane was such an amazing artistic soul and a beautiful man. I love watching how happy he is when he performs.
