In terms of strictly image quality, is there a difference between that and the new a7iii? 🤔

I don’t understand why it’s $1500 now when this video came out almost a year ago and they have newer cameras now smh. I still want it but I’m not happy that people got theirs $700 cheaper lol

I've had mine since it first came out. It's been trouble-free. Why get another camera? It's the person making the photos, not the camera. The camera only records the image; you make the image. A lot of uneducated people and barbarians think that all you have to do is buy a great camera to be a great photographer. wrong. The only reason to buy a newer Sony is if you have a ton of lenses and don't want to dirty up the sensor sooner and need another body as a backup or second camera.

Just ordered a used one for now until the A7 Iv is due to get released next year. The resell value when I sell it shouldn't be much less than I paid today and steps me up from A6000 APS-C. 🙂

If it was good 2 years ago I don’t understand why it shouldn’t be good today lmao. My Fujifilm film camera is still good and it was dropped in the 70s

Glad to see your take on the A7 II. Was hesitating between a used a6500 and a brand new A7 II because they say a6500 is better especially because of the touchscreen display but I’m surprised your videos looked so great even with just the 1080p on the A7 II. I guess I’m really investing my next camera on this one – just because it’s a better deal, it’s full-frame, and I barely shoot 4K.

So what was the lens that you were mentioning that had a really good stabilization on it? I just ordered this camera and am looking for vloging purposes.

Love this camera for my Real Estate photography work. You may want to look at picking up an a6500 for 4k video as you can find some pretty good deals on that camera. Although not great battery life, the a6500 does share the same battery as the a7ii which is nice in case you need extra batteries you can always swap between the two.
