I've just shot a test video to see if this camera is suitable for shooting repairs. Short answer – not really. Long answer – here's the video I shot. https://youtu.be/5MT3RHN3Vi0

Nice recorder overall but has some fatal functionality issues. I'm satisfied with the resolution and video quality, but the record touch sensor is broken from the very beginning, it won't respond no matter how you touch it, so I have to connect the device to the App via Wifi and start recording from within the App.

The recorder works great for small videos. However!!!! If you have recorded for more than 20 minutes, it always shuts down automatically, while you think you are recording something amazing, but ended up getting home finding that the video data is corrupted and unrecoverable, it's just a waste of time. You HAVE TO manually stop and restart recording every 20 minutes in the App, otherwise all data would be lost along the way.

Can't use it for longer recording especially when I'm driving, might be useful for some small video clips, won't recommend.

Great review as always, but I've always found footage from headmounted cameras utterly unwatchable. It is really really bad for those of us that are prone to motion sickness, thanks to the rapid movement we don't even think about when we turn our heads to look at something. It's worse than narrow FOV and low framerate. In general it's not recommended to ever put a camera on your head if you plan to show the footage to someone other than yourself.

Ever reviewed one of these security 'lapel cameras'? This one seems to have some good basic stats: BOBLOV P100 1296P Body Mounted Camera

Got the EP7, my nose shows when I turn my head with the camera. any idea on how to position it better or do I need to book an appointment with the surgeon to have a nose job done? 😉 thanks! (ps: serious question)

As an unexperienced "continental", it is soo frightening watching "me" to drive on the wrong, i.e. left side of the street. It always pulls me to the right. 😀

It’s amazing how much he knows about tech. And it’s not knowledge on one thing, he has knowledge of tech ranging from the last 100 years.

Thanks for your tests, based on EP6, we've improved the auto-focus, 4K/30fps resolution, and gimbal anti-shake functions, without distortion.

Great video. Most disappointing is the 4K video description. The manufacturer should face up with reality instead of cheating. On the bright side, with a preliminary product like this, think what our future products will be like? Just 10 years ago, a big handheld Japanese camera with similar quality would cost you more than 10 times of the price now in offer.

    Nice video!
    Super camera.
But, right there around 6 minutes or so in is where my wife and I were out of the picture, since we, like many others, DO NOT HAVE A SMARTPHONE!! We are still far enough behind the times that we both have "FLIP PHONES"
Well, so much for modern tech!
