Crazy that with the potential of a song like this, He's still only in a bathroom, singing it on a toilet.

Such a tragedy armed with nothing but an acoustic guitar he created more beautiful and meaningful music than most artists. Rest in peace

Im sick of my fiancé complaining about my "depressing music". People don't understand how empathy works. My mirror neurons connect with the music.

A great artist lost way too soon. I Will always get all kinds of feels from his music. Rest in Eternity.

This song evokes so many emotions inside of me. It makes me sad but also offers comfort. There is a longing in each note and the knowledge of the fragility of life as well as it's finality…

I remember those nights when I found my father in the kitchen, drunk and listening to Elliott. He simply hugged me without saying a word and we could stay like this until the sun came out. I didn't know English then, only now I understand that it's much more than just a beautiful sad song. I wish I was twelve again, I wish I could do something… I hope both my father and Elliott are in a better place now ♥

I was going through some rough times in the year 2003 and his music got me through it. I haven't listened to it in a long time and I'm instantly transformed back to those times. :'( RIP Elliott
