The camera is a deal breaker for me on this phone. This is coming from a Keyone owner. The keyone is better overall.

Thanks for this pro and credible video. I will just sell my BB Passport Silver and go for a Google Pixel (even if it it directly hooked up to NSA and every other 3rd party)

Notice the Key2 Video mode is different from Keyone. In Keyone under Video mode, you can either click on video record or still photo taking independently. I love the Keyone video mode that single mode to access to both video recording and still photo taking but not Key2, the still photo taking button is grey out if video recording is not pressed. Also the button designed for Video mode is not changed to video symbol, still using the same still camera symbol.

I would definitely get this for a second phone if it was 500 or less

In my opinion the camera on the Keyone is actually better. I tried the Key2 for a couple of days and did some shootouts. The Keyone tends to take darker, more saturated pictures and has a tendency to miss colour temperatures this way. They Key2 handles this better in most situations, but even in perfect lighting there is no gain in sharpness. Once you go inside it becomes obvious that the sensor in the Keyone captures more light (larger pixel size, though the Key2 has the wider apperature). Everything is sharper and I also prefer the way sharpening is applyied: The Keyone lets you know immediatly when there is no more detail to resolve when zooming into pictures due to noticeable noise, while preserving detail. The Key2 sometimes looks artificially sharper, but when you zoom into the pictures it has a tendency to overwash everything, e. g. make a wall of bricks into a brick-colored wall, missing the contours of the bricks. Zooming with the Key2s secondary camera is nice in good lighting, though mostly not needed, but even indoors it ever switches to the main shooter or delivers a worse performance in both cases to the Keyones camera (remember, same sensor as the Pixel). At dawn or in the night the Key2 camera is hopeless: Often times it cannot focuse, the (handheld) images are blurry, dull, with very bland colours. The Keyones camera might oversaturate those colours (e. g. yellows from street lights) more, but it is able to focuse and produces pictures which are night and day from the ones of the Key2. Much sharper, a lot less noise, with dynamic range and the overall feeling of looking at a picture, not a representation of what a computer could see. Therefore I returned the Key2 (also because I liked the keyboard only marginally better, and paying 3-6 times as much for a speedier phone wasn´t worth it for me).

That’s just weird I have been watching a lot of videos for the Key2. I have seen the blackberry key2 stabilization just kill other phones. I wonder if there is something wrong with certain key2s. Still planning on getting this phone for my next phone.

Excellent review. Disappointed that the KEYone's pretty good camera took a step backwards… I still plan on getting the KEY2 as I think the overall hardware design is an overall evolutionary step forward.
