Even though the M31 captures more detail than the M30s, it is a little behind on the image correction race between the two. However, M31 definitely captures better selfies. That's my opinion.

Are you being paid by Samsung?

Samsung's budget range is just plastic toys. They falsely advertise the battery (which is usually less than half of what they claim), they are designed to get slower after a year, and the camera? That's another story.

64MP is hogwash. Only Samsung's top end gets good camera… nowhere close to 64MP tho. That is not possible. The Note 10+ is somewhat comparable to an entry level 6MP DSLR… but immediately gets blown out of the water once you pull out the prime lens for the DSLR.

Meanwhile budget phones like the M31get the cheap $5 Chinese sensors that can barely do 2MP and then the post-processing digitally increase it to 64MP. They never look anywhere close to what you have shown them to be… especially in low light. I looked at them in 4K and could not find a single low light noise or compression artifact in the images you showed. That proves that those are not real images taken with those phones.

Either that or the units we get here in India are official knockoffs.

Hi! Your review is no frills and extremely useful!

BTW, pl. do me a favour. Can you pl. analyse the audio recording capability of at least one of them? I found most budget phones do not go beyond 96kbps & 48kHz. So quality sucks. I tried with Cinema 4K app and Filmic Pro. They support higher bit rates and tells if hardware support those bit rates or not. So far I found Zenfone 6z
stands out in terms of video as well as audio recording quality, but it is as pricy as M31 / M31s.
Pl. do it urgently for me. At least you may check the captured video with MediaInfo S/w (Windows freeware).
    Thx in advance!

O 4k é bem sofrido. Não chega perto da linha S, mas para quem busca custo benefício e bateria é um excelente aparelho.
