I had a french date once who kept going on about Nina Simoan… I am glad we broke up. He kept complaining I never smiled in the mornings… Well after 15 hourdays per work week as a lawyer back then meeting him for drinks and dinner can you blame me. At least he bought the dinner and we went to nice places – he was french working in a hedge fund outfit. Still years later after I got married we bumped into each other… I had moved inhouse into a compliance role and he dared to say "you look good" and "you married the wrong guy" in the same breath. Thank God I did not marry him. He tried to poke me on Facebook then dissapear several times after the poke by blocking. Tried emailing too but I treated it like a drunk dial and ignored it. I have stopped using facebook for years now. Bluebeard was french wasn't he?
