The character, itself, played in funny scenes which felt like the Lost in Space scenes between Dr. Smith and Robot. Then there’s the way the crew acted around Altaira for her attention – too nice after she chose Adams. It just felt too out of place in the future.

The remakes just keep on coming with Mirrors (with $30.7 million). Director Alexandre Aja had great success with his previous films High Tension (2003) and the remake The Hills Have Eyes (2006), but audiences just couldn’t get pass the films’ origins in order to give this film a chance. Not even the star power of Jack Bower (aka Kiefer Sutherland) could save this film. Maybe next time.
