Ron Artest – (20.3 pts, 6.5 reb, 4.3 ast, 2.3 stl) – Ron Artest may have dropped his scoring average by a few points since his last outing, but at 20 points per game, he is still very worthy of making this edition of the small forward fantasy basketball rankings. In fact, the drop in points can be directly attributed to an increase in assists, which no doubt is better for the team, and the assists are at a higher premium than points when you’re talking about most elite small forwards in the NBA. Artest is also shooting very well from the field with 44% of his shots going down.
Secondly, I was caught up in the fantastic look of everything. As cheesy as it is, I felt excited by the atmosphere of everything. It brought out the kid in me again with its Charlie and The Chocolate Factory type appearance, especially Altaira’s lake/garden with its colorful trees and grass. There was so much to look at; I did a lot of pausing to see everything on the screen. If not for this, I wouldn’t have liked this movie half as much.

One shared characteristic of the props used is that the machinery is big, sleek and geometric in shape with bunches of blinking lights and beeping sounds. The props & SFX used in Forbidden Planet are similar to that of the 60s Star Trek and Lost in Space. The worst is of the spaceship hovering and landing in the beginning which made me laugh! The cheesy SFX didn’t age well but we need to accept that that is what was probably cutting edge for it’s time.
At No. 5 is the surprise entry of M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening (with $64.5 million). Even being his first Rated-R film audiences were just curious about this nature gone amok film. Most genre enthusiasts were enamored more with Larry Fessenden’s similarly themed The Last Winter (2006) than Shyamalan’s over bloated misstep. It was an expensive misfire that even many of his fans didn’t bother with.
Cash flow, ahhh, music to my ears. If your property is putting money in your pocket at the end of the month. Guess what? That’s good. Unless you need write off on your taxes. Then that’s okay. Cash is good. Write off is good, if you need it.
Secondly, I was caught up in the fantastic look of everything. Lego Creationary (3844) – A new entertainment that’s great for family amusement night. If it is a world cup tournament then there is no doubt that fans will miss to watch the game.
