The acting. Hmm, well, it’s adequate overall but far from great. It’s not that the actors are bad but it’s the simplistic script, which I found to be the film’s weakest part. The cast has several great stars. A young Leslie Nielsen plays Commander John J. Warren Stevens plays Lt. ‘Doc’ Ostrow great with proper emotion too!
