Great review. For a number of years I have a sim only contract with Three (UK) and refuse to spend more than £300 on a phone, so budget phones with lots of spec are the way I go. Just got this phone for £175 from Amazon, and I think the phone is good value at this price. Sure it is not a Samsung Galaxy S10 or iPhone XS, but I paid £175 and it does everything I need such as Sky Go, Prime Video, banking apps etc and it is bloatware free.

Flagship camera sensor, budget camera processing. EIS certainly doesn't work, shallow dynamic range in many situations, blurry and noisy low light photos, water color painting effect in certain lighting conditions (typically outdoors), 720fps slowmo looks like upscaled 480p. You're not really getting this phone for the camera, Xiaomi's offering at the same price bracket is clearly superior.
