I just got mine and the screen doesn't come on at all. It powers on and beeps. Anyone else have this problem?

Did you have to boost or enhance the sound with software? I'm asking, because I'm on the verge of returning my Apeman a79 and getting this because even after trying two different microphones the audio is very low. I have to keep the microphone pressed against my lips.
