When i listened to this in my mid teens it was Eric Clapton that stood out to me. 15 years later and it's Ginger Baker I notice

One of the truly great albums from British Rock's heyday…a one-off accident, there was so much talent just swilling around at that moment in the 60s, maybe the first time in history British music had global impact it was so good, it juts fell together and then fell apart.

Well; to everyone who is bashing Eric Clapton and saying he has lost it because he bailed out of the other bands, I have met, talked to him and learned about what he has been through, and, sorry man, but you don't know sh** .
Man, anybody else would have put a smoking gun in his mouth. He lost his SON!! He gave up dope, and he is still " slow hand "
I have seen him at red rocks ( high , both of us) and I saw him play in show sober and clean. Keep on playing Eric, your a great person and I hope to see you again, 1 day at a time.

This music allowed you to cast off your moorings and go wherever the tide took you. Maybe I'm still looking for the shore…

One of the best debut albums ever! I was a radio DJ for over a decade back when radio was great, a music TV reporter, writer and musician my entire adult life. This is one of the superb lineups that just meshed perfectLy for its short existence. Still sounds fresh 50 years later.

There are no acoustic jams here. Instrumental, yes. Acoustic, no.
