Certainly makes the same noise on startup. Specs are 1080p at 60 fps with Wifi. Waterproof case is identical to yours

The camera you bought is actually a knock off of the actual sj4000 the package that it came in where it says water resistant it will be spelt wrong
they are a good camera i have 1 and i find it better than the atual go pros
